For someone (me) who believes fresh cut flowers are a necessity of everyday life…how is it that months have passed where some kind of collected bouquet has not graced a table, desk, bed stand or bathroom counter in our home? How can this be? Looking back over the last couple months, I see this as a mirror of life being a bit off kilter. But, you know… that’s life, and life happens.
There is a cure and the first step to repair is acceptance. Acceptance of one’s own choices, words, actions. Then, forgiveness (of yourself and of others.) Let it all go and make room for white noise. That blissful emptiness to think, dream, visualize, plan, create and move forward.
Now, go and gather yourself a bouquet of beautiful flowers and let them remind you of life’s beauty.
Finally, breathe, be grateful, and celebrate life.
If for no other reason, celebrate that spring is finally here.
