I jumped into photography at an early age, being influenced by the fashion photographers of her day, Avedon, Roversi, Newton, Penn, Isserman – Ultimately immersing myself in the commercial/editorial/film production world as a stylist working alongside some of the most creative clients, art directors, directors, cinematographers, and photographers for more than 25 years – to photography finding me again in 2008.
In 2010, I carried over my styling and design background, added food photography to my repertoire and began studying the finer points of creating beautifully crafted food imagery that pushes the industry standard, while incorporating my established aesthetic.
In 2011, I produced four food magazines through 513{eats}, which I founded.
Following my magazine, I have been working with agencies, magazines, B2B, restaurants to create beautifully crafted branded narratives.
In 2015 began teaching other food photographers what I have learned along the way through workshops, mentoring, newsletters, free resources, and my online community Grey Salt Collective.
